See the Risk. Define the Solution.

A Better Vantage Point for Industrial Hygiene and Safety Solutions.

Vantage EHS Solutions helps DOE, federal, and commercial operations identify workplace exposures, understand operational risk, and implement practical controls that support safer, more reliable work.

Remote

Vantage On-Call

A CIH on retainer for the questions that can’t wait.

Part-time, on site

Fractional

Standing hours on your site, on a set cadence.

Full-time

Staff Aug

Staff augmentation with CIH oversight. One-month minimum.

What Vantage does

Four services

Industrial Hygiene25 services
The health side. Exposure assessment and similar exposure groups, personal air sampling, silica, beryllium and CBDPP under 10 CFR 850, welding fume and metals, noise and hearing conservation, respiratory protection and fit testing, ventilation, indoor air quality, asbestos, lead and mold. Explore Industrial Hygiene
Occupational Safety25 services
The acute-hazard side. Program development and gap assessment, OSHA readiness reviews and mock inspections, job hazard analysis, energy control, permit-required confined space, fall protection, machine guarding, electrical safety, process safety management, incident investigation and recordkeeping. Explore Occupational Safety
Staffing & On-CallOn-Call · Fractional · Staff Aug
Remote On-Call access, Fractional on-site support, and full-time Staff Augmentation — plus placement of industrial hygiene, safety, environmental, work-control, project-support and engineering professionals for DOE contractors, subcontractors and commercial projects. Candidates are screened by a practicing CIH and CSP against the role, the site requirements and the engagement model. Explore Staffing & On-Call
Training25 elements + HAZWOPER
Worker-protection training developed around the site’s own tasks, materials, controls and procedures. Respiratory protection, hazard communication, beryllium awareness, silica, hearing conservation, HAZWOPER, PPE, energy control, confined space, fall protection and supervisor responsibilities. Explore Training
How support is engaged

Three delivery modes. The work is the same; the arrangement differs.

Vantage-on-CallRemote
Remote access to a Certified Industrial Hygienist or Safety Professional on a monthly basis. Suited to organizations that need technical questions answered as they arise without adding a role. See published rates
FractionalPart-time on site
Part-time on-site support on a recurring schedule. Suited to program ownership that requires presence in the building — walkthroughs, sampling, training delivery, contractor coordination. See published rates
Staff AugmentationFull-time, one-month minimum
Full-time on-site coverage with continuity, backfill and CIH oversight of the technical work. See published rates

Published hourly tiers for Vantage-on-Call, Fractional and Staff Augmentation are on the Staffing & On-Call page. Federal and DOE subcontract work is priced per solicitation and applicable wage determinations.

How the work connects

A sampling result rarely completes the work

Exposure data supports a control decision. The control decision raises a respiratory protection question, then a written procedure, then training, then a verification plan. Each of those is a separate scope at most firms, and the connection between them is where the thread is usually lost.

Vantage carries the sequence: task observation, exposure monitoring, engineering-control review, respiratory protection, written procedures, training, corrective action, and staffing coverage where the work needs a person on site.

How Vantage works

  • Health hazards and safety hazards are evaluated together. Dual industrial hygiene and safety credentials mean one assessment rather than two engagements with two firms.
  • The work starts with the task — the materials, equipment, energy sources, environment and people exposed — rather than a preselected service package.
  • Recommendations follow the hierarchy of controls and are documented so the basis for a decision is still legible on later review.
  • Deliverables are written for two readers: the crew that has to use them, and the reviewer who has to accept them.
DOE and federal work

Industrial hygiene under 10 CFR 851 and 850 operates on a different footing than commercial practice

Requirements are continuous rather than episodic, exposure and medical-surveillance records carry long retention periods, and site access, badging and radiological interfaces run on their own schedule. Beryllium work under Part 850 adds surface sampling, regulated areas and a defined medical-surveillance pathway.

Vantage is organized around that: beryllium and CBDPP program support, exposure assessment built to survive re-review, and staffing that accounts for site readiness before the first day on the badge.
